Josh Hawkins

Josh Hawkins is a choreographer/dancer currently supported as Artist in Residence at The University of Salford. He founded his dance company ‘Hawk Dance Theatre’ in 2015 and since then has received funding awards from Arts Council England to support several of his projects. Josh has produced works for various platforms (stage, screen and festivals) which have been showcased throughout the country. Josh has experience of collaborating with a number of artists and mentors and most recently had the opportunity to work with established UK choreographer Gary Clarke as his choreographic mentor. Josh graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a first class honours degree in 2013.    

Natalie Morrell

Natalie is Artistic Director of The Knotted Project Physical Theatre company which she co- founded in 2013. Natalie trained professionally at East 15 Acting school where she graduated with a BA Honors in Physical Theatre in 2012. She specialises in devising work from scratch and physical storytelling as well as having a key interest in movement. Natalie has extensive experience in delivering high quality workshops to children and adults of all abilities.
As part of The Knotted Project Natalie has created outdoor festival pieces as well as full length shows for Theatre. TKP's first show 'Lonely Hearts' went on tour in the North West and recieved fantastic audience feedback. The Knotted Project is now Associate Company at The Dukes Theatre where the venue are supporting them in the creation of original work.

Simon McElligott

Simon completed his training at East 15 Acting School, graduating with a BA in Physical Theatre. Through a desire to create and devise his own work, Simon Co-Founded The Knotted Project in 2013. Simon has devised and produced numerous productions with The Knotted Project that have toured to venues including The Dukes Lancaster, Theatre by the Lake, The Grand Theatre Blackpool and The Brewery Arts Centre.
As Artistic Director, Simon is driven to seek new and challenging opportunities for the company, always striving for quality. He is passionate about telling incredible stories whilst exploring visual and dynamic methods through which to do so.

Alice Shepperson

Alice graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2015 with a First Class Honours Degree. She then continued her training within JV2 (2015-16) working with Jasmin Vardimon, Vinicius Salles and AΦE. Recently, Alice has worked with Dirtmarket in their outdoor physical theatre piece 'The Dancebombing Project'. Also, she has been an understudy for Stopgap Dance Company's 'The Awakening' choreographed by Christopher Pavia.
Alice has previously performed in D.A.N.C.E (Developing A New Comedy Experience), and worked with other artists including: Barnaby Booth, Tino Sehgal and Lina Lapelyte. Throughout 2017 she has also enjoyed teaching professional classes in Nottingham and Leicester.

Leanne Horesy

Leanne, born In Leeds, started dance at a very young age. Beginning at Hull College, Leanne went on to graduate from The Northern School Of Contemporary Dance with First class honours degree. Leanne spent a year touring with Verve, the postgraduate performance company at The Northern School, working alongside leading choreographers and touring Europe. She went on to work with Phoenix Dance Theatre in Leeds. Since then, Leanne has been training with some of the UK's top choreographers including 'The X Factors' Dean Lee, travelling the world and teaching contemporary and commercial dance all around the UK. Leanne works regularly with a children’s party company in London, ‘The Giggle Company’.  

Tilda O'Grady

Tilda has a First Class BA(Hons) in Acting from Manchester School of Theatre (Man Met) and works as an actor, dancer, movement director and theatre maker. Her practice is rooted in a love of collaboration, play and storytelling. Previous performance credits include Faithful Ruslan (Citizens and Belgrade Theatre), Underground (Babel Theatre at HOME Theatre), TUCH (Amy Lawrence at Royal Exchange), You Must Be The One To Bury Me (Babel Theatre), Bluebeard's Castle (OperaUpClose), Jackie and the Beanstalk (Curly Tales Theatre), Kristin Lavransdatter (Theatre Ad Infinitum).
